I remember very well my first time Airbnb experience. It was a beautifully renovated apartment in the heart of Florence just around the corner of the magnificent Piazza Santissima Annunziata and only two blocks from Florence' main square (Piazza Duomo).
Only looking at the frescoed ceilings it was a pure joy and it came at a very reasonable price for our group of four.
Furthermore, it was bright, spotlessly clean, featured a separate fully equiped kitchen, a spacious bathroom, a double bedroom and a single bedroom with very comfortable beds. There was a dvd player, stereo and wifi at no extra cost. Our host was a perfect communicator and very courteous. The check in was seamless and there were thorough and clear instructions of everything house related waiting for us on the dining table.
The house layout not only gave us the privacy and the cozyness we were hoping for but also lent the atmosphere with a classic, festive touch. In the evenings we were able to unwind with a glass of wine at the wonderfully decorated living room and the mornings found us sipping our espresso with the sunlight coming in through the large windows.
In addition to this amazingly presented apartment we got great recommendations from our host on where to have our breakfast and enjoy a delicious meal in the neigborhood, avoiding the touristic traps. If you want an
